Privacy Policy
Flyeri ("Flyeri", "we", "us") helps travellers find trusted companions on the same flight. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights. The data controller is Flyeri; for our full registered company details or any privacy request, contact hello@flyeri.app.
1. Information we collect
- Account details: name, email address, phone number, and authentication identifiers.
- Profile: photo, bio, gender, age range, languages, and traveller type.
- Trip and flight details you enter, and boarding-pass images you upload for ticket verification.
- Messages and connection activity you exchange with other users.
- Subscription and purchase status (we do not receive or store your payment-card details).
- Device and usage data, diagnostics, and advertising identifiers.
2. How we use your information
To provide and match the service, enable chat, verify tickets, manage Flyeri Pro subscriptions, show ads, keep the service safe (block, report, and moderation), analyse and improve the app, and meet legal obligations. Where GDPR applies, our legal bases are: performance of a contract, your consent (for example, personalised ads), our legitimate interests (safety and improvement), and legal compliance.
3. Ticket verification (AI processing)
Boarding-pass images you upload are processed by a third-party AI/OCR provider solely to read your flight details. The images are used only for verification and are retained no longer than necessary.
4. Subscriptions and payments
Flyeri Pro is purchased through Google Play or the Apple App Store, which process all payments. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. We never receive your full payment-card information.
5. Advertising
We show ads via Google AdMob. Advertising partners may use identifiers and cookies to provide personalised or non-personalised ads depending on your consent and region. In the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland we request consent (via Google's UMP) before personalised advertising; on iOS we request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings. Learn more about how Google's partners use data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
6. How we share information
We share data with service providers acting on our behalf: Google Firebase and Google Cloud (authentication, database, storage, messaging), RevenueCat (subscriptions), our AI ticket-verification provider, and Google AdMob (advertising). We may also share information to comply with the law, protect the safety of our users, or in connection with a business transfer. We do not sell your personal data.
7. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the service and for legitimate legal and safety purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
8. Your rights and choices
You can update or delete your account at any time in the app or at flyeri.app. Deleting your account removes your profile, trips, and uploaded files, subject to limited legal retention. Where applicable, you may access, correct, erase, restrict, port, or object to the processing of your data, and withdraw consent. EU/EEA users may lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority. California residents have rights under the CCPA. To exercise any right, contact hello@flyeri.app.
9. International transfers
Your data may be processed outside your country, including by providers in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
11. Children
Flyeri is intended for users aged 18 and older and is not directed to children.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy and will post the new version here with a revised "Last updated" date.
